Gwangju Seo-gu 'Express Delivery Lecture Run to You'...Specialized Lifelong Education
Collaboration with Local Universities, Securing 100 Million Won in Project Funding
Expansion to 100 Courses and Customized Education for Residents
Seo-gu District in Gwangju Metropolitan City is expanding its specialized lifelong education programs for citizens. In collaboration with local universities such as Gwangju Health University, Chosun College of Science & Technology, and Nambu University, the district has secured a total project budget of 100 million won. The number of supported courses will increase from 80 last year to 100 this year.
'Run to You' is one of the flagship programs of the 'World's Largest University (Sekundae)' operated by Seo-gu District.
It carries a double meaning: 'providing learning opportunities to residents' and 'instructors running to the locations requested by residents'.
Courses are provided when study groups consisting of five or more Seo-gu residents select the time and place and apply. Within 48 hours, an instructor is matched with the group to deliver customized education.
Those wishing to participate should prepare the required documents as posted in the notices section on the Seo-gu District Office website and submit them either in person at the Seo-gu Lifelong Learning Center or by email.
