Shinsegae Department Store Begins Recruitment for 6th University Student Community Supporters Cohort
Recruitment Open Until May 17; 80 Participants to Be Selected
Content Creation in F&B, Fashion, Living, and Events
Shinsegae Department Store announced on May 7 that it will begin recruiting the 6th cohort of its Community University Student Supporters Program.
The company is seeking marketing partners who will directly lead the app community for Shinsegae Department Store. Based on the achievements of the 5th cohort over the past three months, the program will be expanded further.
The previous 5th cohort of supporters delivered high-quality content to community users, sharing information such as "Bakery recommendations you must check before visiting Shinsegae," "How to get a 10,000 won coupon," and "A collection of popular European-style bedding recommendations."

In particular, they have received strong empathy and positive responses from the main community users by presenting department store content from the viewpoint of the younger generation.
Over a period of three months, the supporters act as marketers who experience the department store from their own perspective and plan and share content across various fields such as shopping, living, and food & beverage.
The 6th cohort will consist of a total of 80 members, with 20 students selected for each of the four communities: F&B, fashion, living, and events/pop-ups.
Supporters will carry out missions tailored to their assigned communities, including recommending department store date courses, introducing brands and items, sharing seasonal ingredient recipes, and offering lifestyle tips. Each supporter is required to produce four posts per month (two videos and two images). Separate awards will be presented to individuals and teams who create outstanding content.
Recruitment for the supporters will take place from May 8 to May 17. Following the announcement of successful candidates on May 20, the official kickoff ceremony will be held on June 1, marking the start of their activities.
A Shinsegae Department Store representative shared a tip for applicants, stating, "The most important criterion will be how well applicants can create content that fits the community as content creators."
Supporters will receive activity allowances, and certificates of completion will be provided after the program ends. Additional awards will be given to outstanding individuals and teams.
