Korea Federation of SMEs Recruiting Companies for TV Home Shopping Entry Support Program
Applications Open Until May 22
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses announced on May 6 that it is recruiting companies to participate in the ‘TV Home Shopping Entry Support Program,’ which aims to help small businesses expand their sales channels.

View original imageThis program is designed to provide TV home shopping broadcast opportunities for small enterprises and small business owners who produce excellent products but face difficulties in securing sales channels, thereby offering them a chance to assess the market competitiveness of their products.
Eligible applicants are small enterprises and small business owners that produce consumer goods domestically and are members of the Yellow Umbrella (the mutual aid program for small enterprises and small business owners). Companies wishing to participate can submit their applications online through the official website of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses within the application period. The deadline for applications is May 22.
Companies selected for TV broadcasting will be finalized in June after a review process, including document screening and consultations with home shopping merchandisers. The products of the selected companies are expected to be broadcast on the Home&Shopping channel in the second half of this year.
Each selected company will be given a live broadcast opportunity on Home&Shopping for one 50-minute session. Notably, starting with this year’s program, an additional rebroadcast opportunity will be provided to alleviate the burden of unsold inventory from the live broadcast, further enhancing the support effect.

Yang Chanhoe, Head of the Innovation Growth Division at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses, stated, “TV home shopping broadcasts are an excellent opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises struggling to develop new sales channels to promote their products widely. In particular, since this year’s program offers additional opportunities for promotion and sales through rebroadcasts, we hope that many small and medium-sized enterprises producing outstanding products will show great interest and participate.”
