National Pukyong University Wins Grand Prize in 'Operation Kino' at Busan International Short Film Festival

Short Documentary "Wing" Wins Grand Prize
Students from the National Pukyong University have won the Grand Prize at the Busan International Short Film Festival.
On May 5, the university announced that a team of students from the Department of Media Communication received the Grand Prize in the 'Operation Kino' category.
The award-winning film, "Wing," ranked first among all entries in the Operation Kino category. The team received the highest evaluation while competing against students majoring in film and video from other universities.
The work is a 17-minute documentary that tells the story of young people taking on the challenge of hang gliding. It focuses on their repeated failures and fears, as well as their determination to keep trying despite setbacks.
The film was directed by Sihoo Lee, with Jinwoo Park as assistant director, Chaehyun Moon as cinematographer, and Taeo Kim as producer.

'Operation Kino' is a short film production support program for students in media-related departments in the Busan area. The competition is based on planning ability, artistic quality, and production capability.
