Hyundai Motor Seeks Talent to Lead Robotics and AI Integration in Manufacturing
Recruitment of Experienced Professionals in Manufacturing Software and AI
Hyundai Motor Company announced on April 30 that it will be recruiting experienced professionals in manufacturing software and AI ahead of introducing robotics and physical artificial intelligence (AI) to its production sites.
The application period will run from May 1 to May 17, with positions available in four areas: software-defined factory (SDF), manufacturing AI, manufacturing robotics, and intelligent logistics for manufacturing. Successful candidates from the document screening will be announced in June, and the final selections will be made through the first and second rounds of interviews.
Through this experienced recruitment, Hyundai Motor plans to accelerate new future businesses such as robotics and physical AI, strengthen its technological competitiveness, lead the shift in the industrial paradigm, and further enhance manufacturing performance and quality competitiveness.
Aiming to build a "fully autonomous factory" by integrating AI and robotics technologies, Hyundai Motor is accelerating the adoption of robots throughout the manufacturing process. The humanoid robot "Atlas," developed by Boston Dynamics, will be deployed first at the Meta Plant America (HMGMA) factory in the United States in the second half of this year, with the goal of mass-producing 30,000 units of Atlas per year starting in 2028.
