Autonomous A2Z, a self-driving technology company, announced on April 30 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Department of Future Convergence Engineering at Joongbu University for cooperation on field training, internships, and research and development.

View original imageThe signing ceremony took place on April 29 at Joongbu University’s Goyang Creative Campus and was attended by representatives from both sides. The agreement was established to create an industry-academia cooperation model that nurtures and recruits practical talent who can be immediately deployed to meet the demands of the AI, autonomous driving, and robotics industries.
Under the agreement, the two parties will collaborate on: ▲ operating field training and internship programs, ▲ jointly developing company-tailored educational curricula, and ▲ carrying out national research and development (R&D) projects. In addition, students will be supported in gaining hands-on experience based on real industry environments by participating in autonomous driving demonstration projects currently underway in Seoul, Goyang Special City, and Paju City.
Autonomous A2Z will provide autonomous driving technology and demonstration environments, while Joongbu University will be responsible for designing educational programs that reflect industry demand and for fostering professional talent. Through this collaboration, the company expects to secure talent at an early stage, and students are anticipated to strengthen their field adaptability.
On the day of the ceremony, Jihyung Han, CEO of Autonomous A2Z, delivered a special lecture to students of the Department of Future Convergence Engineering. Han explained the vision of the autonomous driving industry, emphasized the importance of field experience, and shared advice on entrepreneurship in future technology fields, including global policy trends.

Han stated, "The competitiveness of the autonomous driving industry will be determined by how well companies secure the talent needed in the field as technology advances," adding, "This agreement will serve as a foundation for nurturing talent optimized for industry demands."
