Established in 1995, AAM annually selects award recipients by evaluating the outstanding performance and market contribution of asset management companies and institutional investors in the APAC region. Starting this year, the ETF category was separated from the existing "Best of the Best Awards" and recognized through an independent ceremony.
Korea Investment Management earned the honor of winning four awards, being recognized for the firm's overall capabilities, the excellence of individual products, and the achievements of its chief executive. In the asset management category, the company was named "ETF Manager of the Year." This reflects a comprehensive evaluation not only of returns but also of the establishment of a product lineup that meets market demand and proactive investor education both online and offline, which contributed significantly to the overall ETF ecosystem. In the individual product categories, the "ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus ETF" won "Thematic ETF of the Year," and the "ACE KRX Gold Spot ETF" was awarded "Commodity ETF of the Year," respectively.
In particular, Jaekyu Bae, President of Korea Investment Management, received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" in recognition of his pioneering role in introducing ETFs to Korea and significantly growing the market.
