Oh Sehoon in a Red Jumper: "I Will Be the Magpie's Share to Stop the Lee Administration"
Attends Yongsan Victory Resolution Rally on April 28
Announces campaign committee with 12 citizen co-chairs
Seohun Oh, the People Power Party's candidate for Seoul mayor, appealed for support by saying, "I will become 'Kkachibap' (magpie's share).
On the morning of April 28, at the Yongsan Saemaeul Geumgo main auditorium in Cheongpa-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Oh attended the 'Yongsan-gu Victory Resolution Rally' and stated, "Our ancestors would always leave one ripe persimmon for the magpies, even in the dead of winter, so they wouldn't starve. I, Seohun Oh, will become that magpie's share."

There are only a few people left who can take responsibility for the future of our party, so shouldn't we foster these people and secure the future?" he emphasized.
He also explained to reporters after the Victory Resolution Rally, "Our party's approval rating is currently in a very difficult situation. The playing field is completely tilted at this point in the election season. In this situation, I will do my utmost to reach the hearts of the citizens."
Oh continued, "With the prospect of President Jaemyung Lee's government running unchecked, I asked that the few remaining assets of the People Power Party be preserved as 'magpie's share' so that they can survive, protect the people one last time, and help shape the future together."
On this day, Oh wore a red jumper, the symbol of the People Power Party. He remarked, "Compared to anyone in the leadership, I've been the one safeguarding the People Power Party. If I don't wear red, who will? Party members are feeling devastated right now, so out of respect for them, our party's symbolic color must be honored." However, Oh's camp also plans to use white and green as well.
Earlier that day, Oh announced the first lineup for his campaign committee, appointing 12 co-chairs in charge of the Citizens' Companion Election Task Force. He said, "As I have emphasized, the lineup reflects a commitment to innovation and a centrist approach, and it means that we will walk alongside the citizens. It also signifies breaking away from Yeouido's old ways and engaging with citizens at their level."
