The Department of Economics at Chung-Ang University will host a special lecture featuring economist Ha-Joon Chang, professor at the University of London, at 4:30 p.m. on April 30 in Room 505, Building 310, at the Seoul Campus.

The lecture will address the topic of “Global Geopolitical Transformation and the New World Economic Order.” In light of recent developments such as the restructuring of global supply chains, intensifying economic competition between countries, and the spread of protectionism, the session will offer an in-depth discussion of the implications of the emerging economic order within this rapidly changing international landscape.
Professor Chang is a leading authority in political economy and development economics, recognized in both academia and the public sphere for his analyses of economic development and industrial policy. He is particularly well known as the author of international bestsellers such as “Kicking Away the Ladder” and “Bad Samaritans.”
