The programs include "Balloon Art World," the musical puppet show "Baby Shark Family," and a magic class for children, among others. The "English Baking Class," which has been well received over the past two months, will also be expanded to all eight locations throughout May. This is a cooking experience program conducted in English. Each program is specially designed so that infants, young children, and their guardians can participate together, fostering creativity and emotional sensitivity.
The participation fee is 2,000 won per child. Advance reservations can be made on the I-Mom Gangdong website and the Our Neighborhood Childcare Portal.
On May 5, Children's Day, the "2026 Gangdong Children's Grand Festival" will also take place at the Open Garden of Gangdong District Office and around Gangdong Children's Center. The event will kick off with a celebratory performance by "Kullu and Friends," followed by a variety of hands-on programs, performances, and interactive play activities. In particular, the "Toy Circulation Market" will offer over 200 well-maintained toys, previously rented out by the Gangdong-gu Toy Library, for sale at affordable prices. This initiative is expected to promote resource circulation while also easing the economic burden on families.
