This project is hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and organized by the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association. It is a program designed to provide tailored, practical entrepreneurship education to female students, helping them recognize entrepreneurship as a concrete career path and prepare for it.
Participants will go through a step-by-step intensive program that includes entrepreneurship education, expert mentoring, and IP coaching. Through this process, they will be able to experience the actual stages of starting a business and develop their capabilities as future women entrepreneurs.
The program will select 30 outstanding startup ideas, awarding up to 5 million won in startup incentives, plaques, and support for intellectual property (IP) applications.
The Future Women Entrepreneurs Development Project, now in its fourth year, has produced a cumulative total of 2,942 graduates, with a satisfaction rate of 96%.
Last year, the IP coaching program was introduced for the first time, providing support for patent, trademark, and copyright applications for a total of 32 ideas.
Applications will be accepted from May 4 to 17, and detailed information can be found on the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association website and the Women Entrepreneurs Integrated Information Portal.
