View original imageThis agreement was promoted to enable the early identification of at-risk students and to build an integrated support system by connecting educational, welfare, and community resources. Its purpose is to strengthen customized, community-based support through close collaboration between schools and the local community.
Under this agreement, the Gyeonggi-do Yangpyeong Office of Education will lead efforts to identify at-risk students early and manage cases at school sites, as well as operate a tailored integrated support system for students. Yangpyeong County will be responsible for discovering households in crisis, providing customized welfare services, and linking resources based on the integrated case management functions of each town and township.
Governor Jeon Jinseon of Yangpyeong County stated, "We will ensure that necessary support for at-risk students and their families is provided in an integrated manner based on a cooperative system where education and welfare are organically connected," adding, "We will continue to strengthen a sustainable support system in partnership with the local community."
Director Yeo Mikyung of the Office of Education said, "Based on an integrated support system that brings together schools and the local community, we will identify at-risk students early and ensure that no one is left behind by providing meticulous support to each and every student."
