Dongseon Kim, the third son of the Hanwha Group chairman and Executive Vice President, has resigned from his position as Head of the Overseas Business Division at Hanwha Corporation's Construction Division and left the company. This move is interpreted as his decision to focus on the establishment of a new tech·life holding company, which is set to launch in July.

He left the position about two years and three months after being appointed as division head in January 2024. Hanwha plans to complete the spin-off in July after holding an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in June.
