Gyeonggi Fire Academy Provides Practical Disaster Training for Vietnamese Fire Officials
The Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy is conducting an "International Cooperation Course on Disaster Management" for 15 fire officials from the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department from April 22 to April 30, 2026.
This training is part of a collaborative project that has continued since the signing of a business agreement between the National Fire Agency and the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department in 2014.
The program consists of a total of 57 hours, including fire, rescue, and emergency work training as well as on-site practical exercises. In particular, participants will receive hands-on training that can be immediately applied to disaster sites, such as firefighter survival (RIT), life-saving (rope and underwater), and urban search and rescue.
