In particular, Choi Mi-young, a former care-sharing group representative and co-author of "Shall We Try Childcare Care Sharing?", was invited as a lecturer. She provided substantial information using vivid real-world examples and audiovisual materials, which was met with enthusiastic responses from participants.
During the subsequent experience session, a pottery-making program was held to help relieve participants' stress and promote emotional stability. This also created a meaningful opportunity for participants to communicate and build bonds with one another.
Since 2019, Namwon City has been operating a total of five community childcare sharing centers, supporting care-sharing activities year-round in which the local community and neighbors collaborate to care for children. In addition, by providing safe play spaces and a variety of educational and experiential programs, the city helps alleviate the burden of parenting and contributes to the development of children's social skills.
