EventCAT to Power Major Sessions and Booths at SusHi Tech Tokyo
Real-Time Support for Over 50 Languages
XL8, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) simultaneous interpretation and translation, announced on the 20th that it will participate as the official technology partner of "SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026," Asia’s largest startup conference, supplying its real-time AI interpretation and translation solution, "EventCAT," throughout the program.
The event, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days starting on the 27th, will be attended by over 500 teams from around the world, including representatives from corporations, organizations, groups, and city governments. XL8 will introduce EventCAT for all major sessions and side events, helping global participants communicate in multiple languages. Based on its experience operating business meetings, lectures, and large-scale conferences hosted by more than 1,000 global companies and organizations, XL8 plans to deliver stable real-time interpretation and translation services at this event as well.
In particular, the company will support smooth business consultations at Japanese corporate booths through AI-powered simultaneous interpretation in more than 50 languages. A demonstration booth will also be operated, allowing global attendees at SusHi Tech to experience EventCAT’s real-time interpretation firsthand.
EventCAT features a proprietary streaming-based speech recognition and translation engine combined with simultaneous machine translation technology, reducing latency by approximately 70% compared to conventional sequential translation. It delivers highly accurate translations by training on conversational data reviewed by experts and automating re-verification processes.
