Achieves Consecutive Awards at National and International Competitions
The Iksan City Hall Workplace Sports Club in North Jeolla Province has been achieving notable results both domestically and internationally.
According to Iksan City on April 20, the City Hall Fencing Team has been participating in the 55th President's Cup National Men’s and Women’s Fencing Championships, which began on April 15 in Haenam, South Jeolla Province, and has secured several medals. In the women's sabre individual event, Jo Yewon won the gold medal on April 17 by defeating Choi Subin of the Ansan City Hall team with a score of 15-14 in the final. She achieved an impressive victory by turning the match around in a close contest. On the same day, in the women's sabre team event, Choi Seonhee, Jo Yewon, Park Jumi, and Kim Yunseo competed as a team and added a bronze medal by demonstrating strong teamwork.
