Receives Lotte Chemical Award
Hanyang University announced on April 22 that Professor Jeongjae Wi from the Department of Organic Nano Engineering received the ‘Lotte Chemical Mid-career Academic Award’ at the 2026 Spring Meeting of the Polymer Society of Korea held at the Daejeon Convention Center on April 9.
The Lotte Chemical Mid-career Academic Award was established in 2024 to encourage mid-career researchers who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in the field of polymer science and technology. Sponsored by Lotte Chemical, the award is presented annually.
Professor Wi was recognized for his exceptional research achievements in the fields of soft robotics and functional polymer materials, including the development of liquid crystal and magnetic soft robots, 3D microstructures, and polymer composite materials.
