Gyeonggi Provincial Library Expands 'G-Collabo' with Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency to AI and Software Fields
Gyeonggi Provincial Library is expanding the collaborative project with Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency, 'G-Collabo,' from a focus on climate and environment to the field of artificial intelligence (AI).
G-Collabo is a project that operates a variety of content through collaboration among public institutions in Gyeonggi Province, and it first launched this month in the area of climate and environment.
In response to the growing educational demand driven by digital transformation, the two institutions plan to broaden the scope of their collaboration to include AI and software fields, and gradually expand the topics for future collaboration.

View original imageThe program will be held over a 10-week period at Gyeonggi Provincial Library, from April 18 to June 27, with seven sessions for students in grades 4 to 6 of elementary school and three sessions for middle school students.
Participants will learn through hands-on experiences how artificial intelligence and computing technologies are applied in everyday life and robotics. Rather than focusing on theory, the program emphasizes practice and experience. Applications and detailed schedules can be found on the Gyeonggi Provincial Library website (library.kr).

Yoon Myunghee, Director of Gyeonggi Provincial Library, stated, "Starting with this educational program, we plan to expand cooperation with public institutions, universities, and private organizations," adding, "We will continue to broaden educational programs and content that residents can experience, based on collaboration with a variety of organizations."
