Performances, Hands-On Activities, and Market All in One Place
Family Festival at Derby Square
Korea Racing Authority's LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam will host an experiential festival for children.
LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam announced that it will hold the "Soft & Squishy Kids Festival" at Derby Square on April 19. The event will feature a variety of hands-on programs and the "Maljukgeori Market," providing families with an abundance of enjoyable activities.
On the day of the event, the special stage at Derby Square will host interactive programs, including the children's puppet show "Soft & Squishy Children's Theater," juggling and balance performances, and recreational activities. In particular, the random play dance with "Dancing Bear," a YouTube creator with around 4.4 million subscribers, is open to all attendees and is expected to receive an enthusiastic response.
Photo zones featuring Malma will be set up throughout the festival grounds. Visitors who take photos and upload them to social media will have the opportunity to participate in a capsule draw event.
Additionally, play areas such as the "Playing with Kids" playground and the "Lego Box Air Bounce" will be available, and the flea market "Maljukgeori Market" will offer about 10 experience booths, including bead bracelet making and dalgona (Korean sugar candy) activities. Food options popular among children, such as hot dogs and chewy snacks, will also be provided.
Safety management will be strengthened during the event period. Professional staff will be on-site, a control room will be operated, and shaded rest areas will be provided to enhance visitor convenience.
