View original imageOn April 16, Ansan City announced that Mayor Lee Mingeun had visited the construction sites of the “Haeran Park Indoor Swimming Pool” and the “Youth Culture House” currently underway in the Bono-dong area of Sangnok-gu on the previous day to inspect the progress of the projects.
On the day of the visit, Mayor Lee Mingeun, accompanied by the construction company and the supervisory team, examined the construction sites in detail, closely checking the status of the interior finishing and space development. He specifically requested that the facilities be completed to a high standard, keeping in mind the convenience of citizens and youth who will use them in the future.
He also conducted a thorough inspection of potential vulnerabilities related to seasonal changes such as the thawing period, and confirmed compliance with on-site safety rules, including the wearing of protective equipment. Mayor Lee emphasized, “Even a moment of carelessness can lead to accidents, so please strictly adhere to basic safety regulations.”
The Haeran Park Indoor Swimming Pool construction project in Bono-dong is being carried out at 990-8 Bono-dong, with a total project cost of KRW 16.9 billion. The facility will have one basement floor and two above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 2,488.27 square meters. As a community-based National Sports Center intended to meet the demand for sports facilities in the Sangnok area, it will include a general and children's swimming pool, a spectator room, and a multipurpose room.

The Youth Culture House construction project in Bono-dong is being developed at 723 Bono-dong, with a total project cost of KRW 6.8 billion. The building will have two above-ground floors and a total floor area of 1,488.77 square meters. Inside, it will feature a club room, creative culture room, study and information search space, book step, multipurpose auditorium, and band and vocal practice rooms, providing a space for youth culture and leisure activities.
