Daejeon, Where Does the Transformation End?
Collaborating with 16 Local Influencers
Promoting Developments in Food, Travel, Science, and Sports
Influencers in the fields of food, travel, science, and sports will participate in a project designed to deliver Daejeon's city brand and major municipal initiatives in a professional yet approachable manner, under the theme of 'Changes in Daejeon.'
The SNS influencer online promotion collaboration project will feature 16 influencers appointed as official ambassadors of Daejeon City. Each of them will communicate with citizens by producing content in their own unique style on topics such as transportation policies including the construction of the tram system, festival and tourism information, and city brand promotion.
The city plans to create viral content reflecting memes and the latest trends, aiming to expand Daejeon City's official SNS platforms into interactive spaces for citizen engagement.
In March, an Instagram post by Green, a cafe travel influencer who is also an official city ambassador, introduced the Great Tree Observatory at Bomunsan and is currently recording 220,000 views.
The city also plans to collaborate with Kim Noon-Al, a KAIST student, to produce participatory content using eyeball stickers on public facilities, thereby maximizing promotional impact.
