KICOX Introduces First-Ever ‘KICOX Edu-Week’ to Foster Company-Wide Learning Culture
From AI Job Skills to Integrity and Safety Training
Three-Day Intensive Program to Strengthen Competencies
On April 14, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced that it will introduce and operate the '2026 KICOX Edu-Week' for the first time, aiming to spread a corporate learning culture and strengthen the competencies of its employees.
This Edu-Week will run for three days from today until the 16th, connecting the KICOX Hall at the Daegu headquarters with regional offices nationwide in real time. It will be operated as a company-wide program in which all employees participate. By shifting from the previously ongoing work and competency training to an intensive program during a specific period, the company seeks to maximize the effectiveness of training and establish a learning culture at the organizational level.
This training program is structured around three key themes to help employees respond to rapidly changing industrial and policy environments: ▲ Strengthening AI capabilities ▲ Leadership ▲ Organizational culture. Through this approach, the company plans to simultaneously advance practical work skills and establish a healthy organizational culture.
On the first day, special lectures and practical training on AI applications will be provided to help staff develop digital skills for effectively integrating artificial intelligence into their routine work. On the second day, the chairman will personally participate in leadership training for executives and a town hall meeting, focusing on enhancing communication and management capabilities within the organization. On the final day, field-oriented training will cover essential topics for public institution employees, such as disability awareness, sexual harassment prevention, integrity, and the promotion of a safety culture.
Korea Industrial Complex Corporation will shift away from simple completion-based education to a learning experience that all members can share and feel, aiming to further accelerate the learning speed of the entire organization. Based on the results of this year’s program, the company plans to develop its own unique training system by intensively operating work and competency training at the beginning of each year.
