How About Unique Spring Water Fun?... Caribbean Bay to Reopen Early on the 18th
Opening Moved Up by Two Weeks Due to Early Heat
Indoor and Outdoor Water Attractions to Open in Sequence
Everland, the resort division of Samsung C&T Corporation, announced on April 13 that Caribbean Bay will reopen starting from the 18th. This year, in particular, the park is opening about two weeks earlier than last year to accommodate the unusually early onset of hot weather.
The main indoor and outdoor water attractions at Caribbean Bay will be opened sequentially. The large-scale indoor facility, the Aquatic Center, along with part of the lazy river, will open together with the park’s reopening, while the outdoor wave pool will begin additional operations starting on the 25th. The Megastorm ride, which combines a magnetic water coaster and the Tornado, will be fully operational from May 1. All facilities are scheduled to open in phases through early July, which marks the peak summer season.
At the Aquatic Center, visitors can enjoy a variety of water attractions, including the indoor wave pool, quick rides, diving pool, and spa, regardless of the weather. The lazy river also provides a relaxing experience in warm water. The massive outdoor wave pool, measuring 120 meters in width and 104 meters in length, features artificial waves up to 2.4 meters high, offering an exhilarating and immersive experience.
For the spring season, Caribbean Bay has implemented heating using recycled waste heat energy. Most outdoor facility water temperatures are maintained at an average of 29 degrees Celsius or higher, allowing guests to enjoy water activities in a warm environment.
Customer convenience and relaxation areas have also been enhanced. A new chair zone has been created near popular outdoor spots such as the wave pool and kiddie pool, with expanded installations of couple chairs and daybeds. Water sprays have also been added along the outdoor tube ride and Wild Blaster paths, so guests can stay cool and refreshed, even during peak heat.
In celebration of Caribbean Bay’s reopening, the ‘Ever to Cabi’ promotion will run until May 28, allowing Everland visitors to enter Caribbean Bay free of charge. This special course enables guests to enjoy Everland’s zoo and attractions, then move over to Caribbean Bay for water activities—all in one day.
