The event was attended by Lee Hyun Jae, mayor of Hanam City; Keum Kwang Yeon, chairman of the Hanam City Council; Choi Jin Yong, president of the Hanam Sports Council; and around 40 other guests, who participated in a tape-cutting ceremony and took the first shots on the course.
The newly established facility spans 149 square meters and is equipped with three state-of-the-art screen golf stations, artificial turf, and safety nets. Notably, a ramp for people with disabilities has been installed to enhance accessibility, and various amenities such as lockers and dedicated staff have been provided to ensure that even elderly users unfamiliar with the equipment can use the facility comfortably.
A total project cost of 175 million won was invested in building the facility. Hanam Urban Development Corporation will be responsible for its operation. There will be a free trial run from April 6 to April 30 to test the system, after which full-scale operations will begin in May.

Reservations can be made in advance online, and any remaining stations will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of use to maximize operational efficiency.
In addition to the opening of this indoor facility, the city is accelerating the development of large-scale outdoor infrastructure. On March 31, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for an 18-hole park golf course at Dangjeong Neighborhood Park in Misa-dong, with construction currently underway and completion targeted for July.
