Pocheon City Opens 'Dureundureun Ildong', a Multipurpose Cultural Space for Residents

View original image'Dureundureun Ildong' is a multipurpose cultural and educational space designed to reduce disparities in public infrastructure between regions and to provide a venue that can be used by children, adolescents, and the elderly together. In particular, the complex was established with a focus on creating a local community hub that enables communication and exchange between generations.
The facility is a building with one basement level and four above-ground floors, covering a site area of 4,785 square meters and a total floor area of 2,999 square meters. It houses dedicated spaces for each generation, including a youth culture center, daycare center, university for seniors, and welfare area for the elderly. In addition, it is equipped as a comprehensive facility offering various cultural and educational functions such as a multipurpose auditorium, performance hall, cultural cafe, and spaces for youth activities and counseling.
