Celebon "Tuning X" Sells Out on Its First Lotte Homeshopping Broadcast
Skin science-based skincare brand Celebon announced that its "Tuning X" broadcast, which aired on Lotte Homeshopping on March 30, sold out.
This broadcast marked Celebon's first entry into home shopping. Hosted by Lotte Homeshopping show host Lee Eunyoung, the program focused on the product's efficacy and backstory. The concept of an "applied booster" was emphasized, with explanations about the delivery technology provided to help consumers better understand the product. The presentation centered on the actual feel of use and visible changes to the skin.
Despite being broadcast at 10:50 PM, a late-night slot, orders began pouring in from the start, resulting in 160% of the targeted sales being achieved. Industry experts interpret this as evidence of the new brand’s potential to establish itself in the market.
In connection to this, market observers commented, "It's not just about ingredients anymore; how effectively they are delivered is now a key factor," adding, "The delivery technology concept, explained as an 'applied booster,' is beginning to gain recognition among consumers, and this case demonstrates the growing demand for such technology."
Celebon Tuning X is a skincare line that incorporates delivery technology developed by the NeoRegen research team, comprised of Seoul National University graduates. Based on approximately 10 years of research, the NICT (Necrogen Intra-Cellular Delivery Technology) utilizes cell-penetrating peptides to deliver active ingredients deep into the skin.
Its standout feature is its ability to deliver even high-molecular-weight ingredients, which are typically difficult to incorporate into conventional cosmetics, into the skin. This technology was recognized for its technical excellence when it was featured as the cover article in the SCI-class international journal "ACS Materials Letters."
The Tuning X line is composed of a boosting essence and ampoule cream, formulated with growth factor-based ingredients such as PDRN, EGF, and FGF, and is designed for skin regeneration and elasticity care.
