[Stock in Focus] BGF Retail Up 6% on Expectations for Profits from CU Mobile Convenience Stores
BGF Retail's stock price is on the rise following news that the number of dispatches for CU's mobile convenience stores has surged.
As of 9:22 a.m. on March 30, BGF Retail was trading at 137,700 won, up 7,400 won (5.68%) from the previous trading day.
BGF Retail announced that, for the period from January to March this year, the accumulated number of dispatches for CU's mobile convenience stores was four times higher than during the same period last year. The company explained that this was due to expanded utilization at festivals and various outdoor events where large crowds gather over a short period.

CU's mobile convenience store is a mobile outlet created by specially modifying a 3.5-ton cargo truck. It is equipped with shelves, refrigeration and freezing facilities, cooking appliances, and a POS (Point of Sale) system, making it possible to move the store according to customer demand.
