According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on March 26, very dense fog is forecast to blanket parts of Gwangju and Jeonnam from late at night until the morning of the 27th. In particular, visibility may decrease rapidly around bridges located along the coast, such as Angel Bridge, as well as roads near rivers, lakes, and valleys in the inland areas. Some locations may also experience drizzle along with the dense fog, so extra caution is required for traffic safety to prevent multi-vehicle collisions.
Caution is also advised for maritime weather conditions. Through the 27th, dense sea fog is expected, especially in the southern part of the West Sea, and visibility may drop below 200 meters in some island regions, increasing the risk of safety accidents. Air and sea travelers are strongly encouraged to check operation schedules in advance, as services may be disrupted due to the thick fog. Even after the fog lifts during the day, some areas may experience light mist or haze.
For the time being, temperatures will remain above the seasonal average (morning lows of 0 to 6 degrees, daytime highs of 13 to 16 degrees), resulting in mild weather. On the 27th, morning lows will range from 3 to 11 degrees, and daytime highs from 16 to 23 degrees Celsius.

An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration stated, "Because visibility may be very limited and roads may be slippery due to dense fog and drizzle, please drive slowly and exercise extra caution to avoid collision accidents," adding, "As the temperature difference between day and night will be significant, especially in inland areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, please pay special attention to your health during this seasonal transition."
