Coreline Soft Supplies Lung Cancer Screening AI to Charité Hospital in Germany
Entering Key Clinical Hubs Ahead of Nationwide Screening Expansion
"Shifting Focus from Product Performance to Screening Operations Systems"
Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Coreline Soft has supplied its AI solution for lung cancer screening to Charité University Hospital in Germany. This is seen as a major milestone, as the company has entered a key clinical hub while Germany is moving to institutionalize low-dose CT-based lung cancer screening at the national level.

The newly implemented solution is an integrated model based on low-dose chest CT scans, analyzing not only lung nodules but also chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), coronary artery calcification, and more. The solution is designed to enhance efficiency and consistency in the interpretation process.
Germany is currently working to include lung cancer screening in its national health insurance system. The Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) has previously indicated its intention to provide reimbursement for low-dose CT-based screening.
According to the company, once such a policy is fully implemented, establishing a standardized operational system—from participant selection to interpretation, follow-up management, and quality control—will become a core challenge. The ability to operate screening platforms in a multi-center environment, beyond single-hospital imaging analysis tools, is becoming increasingly important.
A Coreline Soft representative said, "Within the industry, this introduction is expected to shift the German lung cancer screening market from a focus on product performance to an emphasis on screening operations systems. As national-scale screening expands, experience in multi-center operations and management capabilities will be critical competitive factors."
