Kim Hye Kyung visited the funeral hall at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, where the late Lee Byunghwan, the mother of Kim Jung Sook, spouse of former President Moon Jae In, was laid to rest. She paid tribute to the deceased and offered comfort to the family.
After paying her respects, Kim Hye Kyung expressed her deepest condolences to former President Moon Jae In and Kim Jung Sook. In return, former President Moon and Kim Jung Sook wished for the health of President Lee Jaemyung and Kim Hye Kyung.
Hong Ikpyo, Senior Presidential Secretary for Political Affairs, and Oh Sangho, Deputy Chief of the Second Presidential Secretariat, were also present at the funeral on this day.
