Selecting Young Talent from Southern Metropolitan and Yeongnam Regions
Coupang Fulfillment Services (CFS), the logistics subsidiary of Coupang, announced on March 19 that it will hold its first recruitment fair of the year and is looking to hire on-site logistics workers as well as logistics managers.
To start, a recruitment fair will be held on March 24 at the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. More than 20 fulfillment centers from the southern metropolitan area—including Gwangju (Gyeonggi), Gonjiam, Geumwang, Dongtan, Majang, Siheung, Anseong, Yongin, Icheon, Cheonan, Cheongju, and Pyeongtaek—will participate in the event to recruit logistics workers.
On March 26, another recruitment fair will be held at the Cheonma Gymnasium of Yeungnam University College in Daegu. This recruitment event in the Yeongnam region is being organized to meet the growing demand for labor following the expansion of Coupang's Rocket Fresh service, and five fulfillment centers from Daegu and Gyeongsan will participate to meet with job seekers.
The available positions include inbound, outbound, inventory and returns inspection, forklift operation, and on-site logistics management. In particular, for the convenience of job seekers, the event will be operated as a "one-stop recruitment" process, in which career counseling and on-site interviews are conducted in a single visit. There will also be various events such as prize draws.
Job seekers wishing to apply can do so through major recruitment websites such as Saramin, Albamon, Alba Heaven, and JobKorea. On-site applications will also be accepted on the day of the recruitment fair.
Park Suhyeon, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of CFS, said, "We hope that many job seekers, including young talent, will find stable employment at Coupang this year," adding, "We plan to continue holding recruitment fairs in major cities nationwide in the future."
