Newlywed households are defined as those within seven years of marriage registration. Multi-child households are those with two or more children, including at least one child under the age of 18. Youth households refer to single-person households aged between 19 and 39 years old.
For income eligibility, newlywed and multi-child households must have an income at or below 180% of the standard median income, while youth households must be at or below 150% of the standard median income. The housing requirement is a residence in Pocheon City with an exclusive area of 85 square meters or less. Support is provided only if the remaining loan balance is 200 million won or less.
The support consists of up to 2% of the outstanding balance of the housing lease loan from a financial institution, with an annual maximum of 2 million won per household. Payment is made once per year.
Applications are accepted from April to December 2026, between the 1st and 5th of each month (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays). Applicants must visit the local administrative welfare center corresponding to their address in person; applications by mail are not accepted. Results will be individually notified by text message, and the subsidy will be deposited into the applicant’s account after the 20th of each month.
However, recipients of basic livelihood security, those using credit or general loans, those who have entered into lease contracts with direct line relatives, beneficiaries of similar programs, and residents of public rental housing are excluded from eligibility. The program may end early if the budget is exhausted.
