The Gwangmyeong Win-Win Platform is a win-win platform that connects and promotes local businesses' products and services online, and it officially launched in January. It also provides a variety of business support functions to help vitalize the local economy and encourage local consumption.
The purpose of this contest is to discover a new name that effectively captures the platform’s identity and symbolism, thereby increasing awareness among citizens and businesses, and further developing the platform into a win-win space shared by local companies and residents.
Anyone in Korea can participate in the contest, and each individual may submit one entry.
The theme is to propose a new name that reflects the purpose and value of the Gwangmyeong Win-Win Platform and is easy for both citizens and businesses to remember and use.
Citizens who wish to participate can find detailed information on the Gwangmyeong Win-Win Platform, the Gwangmyeong City Hall website, or the Gyeonggi Technopark website, and submit their entry via the QR code in the promotional materials.
The judging will take place in two stages. In the first round, an internal evaluation will select the top 10 entries with the highest scores. In the second round, the final winner will be determined by combining 50% of the online popularity vote and 50% of a qualitative assessment by the internal evaluation committee. The final selection will be announced in mid-April.
The awards will be as follows: one grand prize winner (individual or team) will receive 500,000 won, one excellence award winner (individual or team) will receive 300,000 won, and one encouragement award winner (individual or team) will receive 200,000 won.
The selected name will be used as the official name of the platform, and in the second half of the year, a logo contest will also be held to further build the brand.
