Cheoin District of Yongin to Hold "On-Site Communication" Event for Apartment Residents
For Apartment Complexes That Participated in Last Year's Meetings and Wish to Join
Explanation of Request Handling and Collection of Additional Suggestions
Cheoin District in Yongin Special City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on March 17 that it will hold an on-site communication event in late March to explain the status of requests raised by residents at last year's apartment housing meetings and to collect new suggestions.

The district also intends to explore possible improvements.
The target for this on-site communication includes apartment complexes whose residents submitted requests at last year's meetings and who wish to hear explanations about the status of those requests or have additional suggestions. The district will survey which complexes wish to participate and then hold the communication event between March 23 and March 31.
During last year's resident meetings—such as the on-site communication busking and communication concert led by Mayor Lee Sangil—Cheoin District apartment residents made various suggestions to improve their living environment. These included installing security lights along the Gyeongan Stream walking trail, implementing noise reduction measures for National Roads 42 and 45, adding crosswalks and shade structures in front of complexes, expanding roads in conjunction with future large-scale apartment construction, building additional crossings and conducting environmental cleanups for Geumeo Stream, establishing new park golf courses, planting more roadside trees, and installing additional streetlights near complexes.
In response, the district has already addressed and completed 45 requests that could be improved immediately, while 158 are currently being processed or reviewed. However, issues that must be resolved directly by individual apartment complexes, as well as matters that could disrupt traffic flow or cause disputes with neighboring complexes, are classified as unfeasible and will be explained accordingly to gain residents' understanding.
Cheoin District will first identify apartment complexes wishing to participate in on-site communication, then visit those complexes directly to explain the results of last year's request handling to the presidents of residents' representative associations and building representatives. The district will also check if there are any new suggestions regarding apartment management and related matters.
