Hana Card Expands 'Travelog Switch' Service to Three Flagship Debit Cards
Hana Card announced on the 16th that it will expand its 'Travelog Switch' service to three of its flagship debit cards.
Following the Wonder Card 2.0 and Nara Sarang Card, Hana Card plans to continue its growth in the foreign currency payment market by expanding the 'Travelog Switch' service, which enables overseas payment with zero foreign transaction fees without the need for a separate Travelog Card application, to three of its flagship debit cards. The service will be applied to the VISA-branded versions of the company's representative debit cards: 'Hana Members 1Q Debit Card,' 'Daldal Hana Debit Card,' and 'MULTI Any Debit Card.' The same Travelog Switch benefits will also be provided to the 2.6 million existing customers using these three debit cards.
With the expansion of this service, customers preparing for overseas travel can easily sign up for the Travelog Switch service through the Hana Pay app and change their foreign currency payment method with a single tap. They are expected to enjoy benefits such as ▲free currency exchange for all currencies (100% exchange rate benefit), ▲waiver of overseas usage fees, and ▲waiver of overseas ATM withdrawal fees.
In addition, to coincide with the expansion of the Travelog Switch service, Hana Card has prepared a special promotion in partnership with Visa for travelers heading to Southeast Asia. From next month until December, a taxi discount coupon benefit will be offered through the Grab app. This promotion will cover not only the three newly Travelog Switch-enabled debit cards ('Hana Members 1Q Debit Card,' 'Daldal Hana Debit Card,' and 'MULTI Any Debit Card'), but also the 'Hana Nara Sarang Card.'
Customers using these cards will be issued five Grab taxi $2 discount coupons per country for use in six Southeast Asian countries—Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore—providing them with up to $10 in discounts per country.
