On Monday, the 16th, morning temperatures across most regions nationwide are expected to drop below freezing. The difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures is forecast to reach around 15 degrees Celsius.

View original imageAccording to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 15th, the minimum morning temperatures on the 16th are expected to range between minus 3 degrees Celsius and 7 degrees Celsius. The maximum daytime temperatures are forecast to be between 10 and 16 degrees Celsius.
The expected temperatures for major cities are as follows: Seoul, 1°C and 13°C; Incheon, 1°C and 11°C; Suwon, 0°C and 13°C; Gangneung, 3°C and 12°C; Daejeon, 1°C and 15°C; Sejong, 0°C and 14°C; Gwangju, 2°C and 15°C; Daegu, 3°C and 15°C; Ulsan, 4°C and 14°C; Busan, 7°C and 16°C; and Jeju, 6°C and 12°C.
For the time being, temperatures are expected to remain similar to or slightly higher than the seasonal averages (minimum between minus 3°C and 5°C, maximum between 10°C and 14°C).
On the 16th, the sky will be mostly cloudy across the country. In Yeongdong, Gangwon Province, there may be light raindrops of less than 0.1 mm until midnight.
Inland areas may experience fog with visibility less than 1 km until 9 a.m. Fog could be denser on roads near rivers, lakes, and valleys, so caution is advised for traffic safety.

Fine dust levels are forecast to reach "bad" levels in the capital region, Yeongseo in Gangwon Province, Chungcheong region, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk. Jeonnam, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam are also expected to see "bad" levels until the morning. Other regions are forecast to remain at "moderate" levels.
