In particular, the event gained significance as it was held in connection with the "Warm School Commute Guide Campaign" promoted by Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, and involved the joint participation of the public sector, private organizations, and the police.
On this day, officials from the Provincial Office of Education, Chuncheon Office of Education, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, Gangwon Provincial Police Agency, and other related organizations participated. They provided students commuting to school with guidance on safe walking practices and everyday safety tips to prevent abductions at the school gate and along main school routes, carrying out activities to raise awareness of both traffic and personal safety.
In particular, efforts were made to spread a culture of safe commuting by introducing the "Three Safety Promises for the School Commute" (∆ Using safe routes ∆ Not following strangers without guardian consent ∆ Asking for help loudly), making it easy for students to remember and practice them in their daily lives.
