Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Publishes "Gwangyang Port Liner Service Guidebook"
Includes Terminal-Specific Call Schedules
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (hereinafter referred to as "the Authority") announced on March 11 that it has published a guidebook detailing the current status of regular container liner services calling at Gwangyang Port.
This guidebook visually marks the routes of regular container liner services calling at Gwangyang Port on a map, allowing users to access route information more easily and intuitively. It contains information such as the shipping companies and ports of call, weekly and terminal-specific schedules, and is expected to help shippers and other users of Gwangyang Port utilize logistics services more efficiently.
The Authority plans to distribute the guidebook to major shippers that use Gwangyang Port. Companies wishing to receive additional copies can quickly obtain guidance by contacting an Authority representative.
Additionally, the Authority has attracted the Albatross service, a round-the-world (Asia-Europe-North America) route operated by MSC, the world's largest shipping company as of 2025. It is also the only port in Korea to secure the AE15 service, the main Europe-bound route of the world's largest shipping alliance, Gemini, thereby further strengthening its global network.
As a result, Gwangyang Port now has 30 shipping companies connecting 106 ports in 31 countries worldwide, including long-distance routes to the Americas, Europe, and Africa. Detailed information on the available services can be found on the Authority's website under the "Port Operations" - "Container Service Status" menu.
