Daejeon Listed Companies Surpass 96 Trillion Won in Market Capitalization as of End of February

As of the end of February 2026, the combined market capitalization of listed companies based in Daejeon reached 96.4986 trillion won. This figure represents an increase of approximately 5% (4.6457 trillion won) compared to January 2026, when the market capitalization stood at 91.8529 trillion won.
A closer analysis shows that leading local companies such as Alteogen (21.8036 trillion won), Rainbow Robotics (16.6838 trillion won), and Legochem Biosciences (701.82 billion won) have maintained a strong presence among the top market capitalizations on the KOSDAQ, thereby supporting the overall growth in scale of listed companies in the region.
Amid this positive trend, Axvis Co., Ltd., a company specializing in intelligent laser solutions, became the first company to go public in Daejeon this year by newly listing on the KOSDAQ market on March 9, 2026.
Axvis is a promising company leading the precision manufacturing process market—including secondary batteries and semiconductors—through its intelligent high-power laser solution, VisionSCAN, which integrates AI and robotics technologies.
During the general subscription in February, Axvis attracted a high competition rate of 2,711.06 to 1 and secured approximately 8.9634 trillion won in deposits. On its first day of listing, the closing price soared to 46,000 won, which is a 300% increase compared to the offering price of 11,500 won, demonstrating the market’s overwhelming expectations.
This listing is drawing attention as a tangible result of the 'IPO & Scale-Up Program' operated by Daejeon Technopark.
