Seongsan District in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, has begun a special inspection of 216 accommodation businesses in the district until March 27, ahead of the opening of the Jinhae Gunhang Festival. The aim is to prevent excessive increases in accommodation rates and to establish a fair market order.

The main points of inspection include: ensuring accommodation price lists are posted and prices are adhered to; checking whether rooms and bedding are properly cleaned and maintained in accordance with business compliance requirements; and promoting the planned introduction of a voluntary prior price reporting system.
