The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on March 9 that they will participate in the '2026 London Book Fair' to be held at Olympia London from March 10 to 12, where they will operate a Korea Export Consultation Booth.

At this book fair, the Agency will set up a 95-square-meter Korea Export Consultation Booth (Grand Hall 6D105), hosting copyright export consultations with ten domestic publishers and agencies. Major publishers and agencies such as Munhakdongne, Jaum & Moum, Influential, Darakwon, and Sanjini will participate, and a total of 101 titles will be showcased as commissioned exhibition books.

The booth will feature numerous award-winning works and bestsellers, including acclaimed literary titles. 'Jeolchang' by author Koo Byung-mo (Munhakdongne) received the Kim Yoojung Literary Award and the Han Moosook Literary Award, and remained a domestic bestseller for 25 consecutive weeks after publication. 'Moyagi' by author Choi Yeonju (Aetnun Books) won the 2025 France Sorcière Prize and drew attention in the European market. 'Yawning is Delicious' (Neobooks), by Kang Ji-young, author of the original work for the drama 'A Shop for Killers,' will also be featured.

The commissioned exhibition books include 'The Gap of Sorrow' (Sakyejul) by Lee Geum-yi, which was shortlisted for the 2026 Hans Christian Andersen Award, and 'Star Mister' (Kkumkkuneun Kkoryeon) by Han Damhee, which won the Grand Prize in the Cross Media category at the 2025 Bologna Ragazzi Awards. Other featured Korean publishing content includes 'Polar Night Diary' (Cat Family) and 'The History of Ramen' (Book Ocean). After the exhibition, the books will be donated to local libraries.

This participation in the London Book Fair marks the first overseas book fair event of the year. The Agency plans to continue expanding the global distribution channels for Korean publishing content by participating in the Bologna Children's Book Fair in April, the Frankfurt Book Fair in October, and the Shanghai International Children's Book Fair in China in November.

A representative from the Agency stated, "Starting with London, we will strengthen the foundation for the global expansion of Korean publishing content through major international book fairs," adding, "We will systematically increase export results through customized support and promotion of authors."
