Students, regardless of their home university, can enroll in the course through credit exchange and will receive hands-on, field-oriented education at the Urban Campus Building 2 as the central venue.
The curriculum begins with theoretical education, such as analysis of Daegu’s five major new industries and understanding of the startup ecosystem, and proceeds to practical projects including tours of startup support organizations and business plan writing workshops.
Notably, the faculty is composed of both university professors and industry experts, focusing on strengthening practical skills.
Shin Ilhee, President of Keimyung University, stated, "This 'Daegu Startup Studies' course is not an initiative of a single university, but a joint entrepreneurship education alliance model designed by universities across Daegu." He added, "It is an example of shifting from competition to cooperation among universities and a model that implements the regional innovation direction pursued by RISE in the field of education."
