The impersonation account drew attention by posting, "My thoughts regarding my position are summarized in a YouTube video," and, "Everything necessary has been said in the video. If anything was lacking, I will show it through my actions in the future." The post received more than 3,000 likes and around 600 comments. Notably, it featured the 'blue check' mark indicating verification and used Kim's YouTube channel introduction, "We promote everything in the world," exactly as it is. However, after Kim revealed that this was an impersonation account, the account has since been deleted.
Kim’s personal YouTube channel is rapidly gaining subscribers. As of 5:00 p.m. on March 5, the number of subscribers surpassed 980,000, and the channel is expected to reach 1 million subscribers within three days of its launch.
In his first video, which is 2 minutes and 10 seconds long, he directly explained his reasons for resigning and his future plans. Kim stated, "I left because I wanted to earn more money," adding, "Ultimately, it was a choice for better conditions." He continued, "Now that I am 40 years old, I wanted to make the most of my abilities before it was too late," and stated, "For now, my goal is to establish myself as a YouTuber."

Corporate public relations managers have left comments from official accounts expressing interest in potential collaborations, such as, "We would like to request promotion."
Kim was appointed as a level 9 civil servant in 2016 and became known after taking charge of Chungju City’s official YouTube channel "Chung TV" from 2019. He is credited with transforming public sector promotional strategies by creating "B-grade sensibility" content using the latest trends and memes. In recognition of these achievements, he was promoted to level 6 at the end of 2023, just seven years after his appointment.
