At the site, organizers provided an overview of the Connect-us event and explained how to apply. They also used QR codes in their promotional materials so that citizens could instantly access the application page on the spot.
Notably, Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin visited the promotional site that day, explained the purpose of the program, and encouraged citizens to participate.
The "Youth Matching Project Connect-us," promoted by Seongnam City, is designed to allow unmarried working adults with similar hobbies or preferences to meet and interact without pressure. The city is recruiting 300 participants for this event—150 men and 150 women—until March 13.
The event will be held on March 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Wirye Militopia Hotel (Changkok-dong, Sujeong-gu). The theme of this event is "People Who Enjoy Sports," and participants will share their preferences for activities such as running, yoga, tennis, soccer, and baseball as they interact with each other.
In addition, comedian Kim Younghee, who is currently the MC of the entertainment program "Malja Show," will host a talk concert. Small groups of about ten people will be formed according to their sports interests, and various networking programs will be held for participants to share stories about health, daily routines (habits), and everyday life.
