Nam Jeonghae (age 60), Senior Expert Advisor for the Planning and Economy Committee at the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council, resigned on March 5.
Nam stated, "I submitted my resignation on the final day of the deadline for public officials because I plan to run as a provincial councilor candidate for Yecheon, Gyeongbuk, after receiving a nomination from the Democratic Party."
