Fire Breaks Out at Jewelry Shop in Jongno Jewelry District; Suspected Gas Cylinder Explosion
At approximately 1:26 p.m. on March 5, a fire, believed to have been caused by a gas cylinder explosion, broke out at a commercial building in the Jongno Gold Jewelry Street, Bongik-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Fire authorities are currently working to extinguish the blaze.
Upon receiving the report, the Jongno Fire Station dispatched 88 personnel and 24 pieces of equipment to bring the fire under control. So far, no casualties have been reported.

The Jongno District Office sent out emergency disaster text alerts, advising, "Fire suppression is underway, so nearby vehicles should take detours and residents are urged to prioritize their safety."
