The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education will continue the 'Jeonnam Human School' project, which is a hope-planting initiative in remote areas of Nepal.

As the original agreement period expired, both parties agreed to continue their cooperative relationship, which has been built on mutual trust over the years.
The Provincial Office of Education has collaborated with the Um Hong-gil Human Foundation to spearhead the construction of local schools in Nepal and improve the underdeveloped educational environment. In particular, students from Jeonnam have played an active role as civilian diplomats by visiting Nepal in person, running Korean culture experience booths, participating in friendly sports activities, and painting school walls as part of various volunteer activities.
Through this renewed agreement, the Provincial Office of Education plans to further solidify its global educational cooperation model. The initiative is expected to provide Nepalese students with a comfortable and stable learning environment, while also offering Jeonnam students valuable opportunities to enhance their cross-cultural understanding and global awareness.
Superintendent Kim Daejung stated, "Jeonnam Human School not only improves the quality of education in Nepal but also serves as a valuable platform for our students to practice sharing and learning through international exchange," adding, "I hope that this extension of the agreement will further invigorate educational and cultural exchanges between the two countries."
