KB Kookmin Bank Earns Re-Certification as Health-Friendly Company and Outstanding Workplace for Worker Health Promotion

KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 4th that it has obtained re-certification in both the "2025 Health-Friendly Company Certification Program," organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Promotion Institute, and the "Outstanding Workplace for Worker Health Promotion Activities," organized by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
KB Kookmin Bank, which has been re-certified as an 'Outstanding Workplace for Worker Health Promotion Activities,' received the Award from the President of the Korea Health Promotion Institute on the 4th.
View original imageThe "Health-Friendly Company Certification System," introduced in 2022, is a program administered by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Promotion Institute. It recognizes companies that foster a health-friendly workplace culture and environment, and support employees in practicing autonomous health management.
KB Kookmin Bank not only obtained certification in the first year of the program but also became the first bank in the sector to successfully achieve re-certification. This certification remains valid for three years. The bank explained that its psychological counseling program "KB Haealim," which is operated to help manage employee stress, received high marks during the evaluation.
On the same day, KB Kookmin Bank also received the President Award of the Korea Health Promotion Institute. In addition, the bank was once again selected as an "Outstanding Workplace for Worker Health Promotion Activities," maintaining its qualification for another three years.
Since 2021, KB Kookmin Bank has been operating a Health Strategy Center staffed with medical doctors, nurses, and psychological counselors, continuously providing professional and systematic programs to promote the health of its employees.
