Samsung C&T Fashion Launches Domestic Operations for Sandro, Maje, Claudie, and Fursac
Signed Agreement with French Fashion Company SMCP
Secured Exclusive Domestic Distribution Rights
Samsung C&T Fashion announced on March 3 that it began domestic operations of the French contemporary brands Sandro, Maje, Claudie, and Fursac starting from March 1.
Samsung C&T Fashion has signed an agreement with the French fashion company SMCP and secured exclusive domestic distribution rights for Sandro, Maje, Claudie, and Fursac.
SMCP pursues the concept of "Agile Luxury," and has grown by offering brands that combine trendy designs, high quality, and accessible prices. SMCP currently operates in 49 countries around the world and is a leader in the global contemporary fashion market.
Founded in 1984, Sandro is the original brand of SMCP, presenting women's and men's collections that combine Parisian chic with a modern sensibility. Maje, launched in 1998, is a brand that suggests styles expressing natural elegance and femininity. Claudie, established in 1984 and acquired by SMCP in 2009, offers collections for contemporary women by adding witty details to classic items. Fursac, which began in 1973 and was acquired by SMCP in 2019, is a menswear brand that exemplifies the essence of French tailoring.
Samsung C&T Fashion will manage both the offline retail and online business for the four brands in Korea. The company will operate a total of 121 offline stores, including 95 department store locations and 26 outlet stores, as well as dedicated brand sections on the SSF Shop platform.
For the 2026 spring and summer (SS) season, Sandro, Maje, Claudie, and Fursac will each highlight their core items to clearly showcase their unique brand identities. Sandro will feature detailed outerwear-style cardigans, leather jackets, and denimwear for its women's line, while offering pants in various colors and fits as key items for its men's line. Maje will focus on feminine tweed jackets and knit cardigans. Claudie will emphasize knitwear with a preppy mood, and Fursac will present a range centered on suits with flexible tailoring.
Additionally, Samsung C&T Fashion plans to provide consumers with a variety of high-impact marketing content to reinforce each brand's distinctive identity, while improving in-store space design and product display methods to make the retail environment more appealing and engaging.
